It's definately summer!

Very hot today. 43 degrees C. I watered in preparation for the heat but have not ventured out to check for damage. The most vulnerable will be the pots, and seedlings. Everything was still alive when I hand watered this morning.
I must install a watering system to save time and improve efficiency. Its a big ask to get someone to look after all the plants if we go away. Thanks Fiona!

I hope nothing died Jayne. I lost a couple of little things in the nursery at christmas time - it's disappointing when you put so much love and care into it all on a regular basis.

Welcome the the world of Blogging Jayne. Like you I'm struggling the keep things going - I'm in Swan Hill so know the pain you are going through trying to keep plants alive. Hope the plants survived and you are coping with the heat. Love your vegie garden - if only mine was that productive.

What a scorcher. We thought it was bad getting 39 deg that day!
It's hard to keep things in pots going in the heat isn't it.
All the best, farmers markets are great.

Happy blogging, cheers :D
